About Us
Tadra Talei is made up of a group of passionate and driven individuals who have come together from all walks of life. With lifetimes of careers and past experiences. This company exist to serve and empower individuals and communities throughout Fiji and help their "Precious Dreams" come true. By partnering with community leaders, government agencies and industry professionals. We are working every day to build connections and establish bridges to new opportunities.
This is not simply a "fishing company". This is a framework for community minded individuals, to empower sustainably viable operations, that will ensure that future generations will continue to thrive both on land and in the water.
Our Mission
Fishing has always been a part of life in the islands. Not only as a means of income but even more so as a way of subsistence. For generations, these waters and fishing grounds have been meticulously maintained and sustained. It is in this same spirit that Tadra Talei approaches fishing as a community-centered industry.
Our Mission is to serve the community by establishing programs that empower and uplift operational capabilities. By coming along side and starting from where communities and individuals currently are. We are able to set achievable goals and move towards those goals together. Through collaboration and community we are charting a course for a future that each person and community can be proud to be leaving for the generations that we will never meet.
Our Vision
The potential for growth on a wide scale and improved sustainability, both financially and harvest wise is there. The communities of hard working dedicated fishers are there. The potential to create lasting, generational change is there. The only parts missing are the framework, network and experienced industry professionals coming together in one place. Not to "get rich quick", not to "be important". But to serve something important.
By Tadra Talei serving the community, and that community serving other communities, and those communities working with Tadra Talei to serve even more communities. Each one grows stronger together, and by working together everyone reaches their goals. This is the vision of collaborative growth that Tadra Talei is founded upon.
